Other carnivals attended by Somerset in 2018

Somerset attended the Mandurah, Melville, Stadium and Fremantle Carnivals during the year.  To read about the latter three carnivals and to see pictures, click here.

 

Club Champion Award 2018

The Club Champion Award is done and dusted for another year.

The female winner is the evergreen Jeannie Johnson with 53 points.

In the male category it’s the other evergreen in Jeremy Allen with 42 points.

Endurance 1000 Results and Peter Riddle

Peter Riddle completed 10 years as the Endurance Swims Recorder when he presented the Club with our results for 2017.  Read about how we went here.

The Mandurah Swimming Carnival was held on 25 March.  Read how Somerset went and view some pictures here.

 

E1000 (Endurance Swimming) 2018-Final Standings

The E1000 Endurance Swimming results in!

Total points at the end of the year was a whopping 8505 points.

This means we were 1654 points up on last years total.

Pauline Murphy managed to hold of the rest of the females to earn the most points in that category with 915pts.

Special mention to Yvette Ballard who completed all 62 swims possible to amass 888pts. (That includes 5x800 fly's) What a great effort.

Peter Coyle was the best of the males 1005pts. That is the maximum that can be scored!! All swims and top points in all of them. Another fantastic effort.

When I hear from Masters Swimming how the club went, compared to other clubs, I'll let you all know.
